New Old Spice Campaign Shows that the ONLY Fashion Accessory You Need this Season is Your Hair
Feb. 24, 2023
Let’s face it. There are times when guys rely on their accessories… fancy watches, expensive sunglasses and designer belts to give them that boost of confidence to feel their best. But not anymore! Old Spice wants guys to know that "Your Hair" is the only fashion accessory you really need.
Old Spice knows that while almost 1/3 of guys are interested in using styling pucks, only 16% of guys are actually using them today because they often have had a hard time deciding what product is right for them. The brand’s latest campaign created by Wieden+Kennedy Portland, available today across Old Spice’s social channels (Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat), playfully takes aim at traditional fashion tropes to highlight its line of hair styling products and the benefits the Pomade, Putty and Styling Creme provide users.
Enlisting the talents of director Robbie Augspurger and legendary voice actor Shadoe Stevens, the hilarious spots (one :15 and three :06’s) feature everyday guys with different looks giving their best take on high-fashion model behavior, while spotlighting a variety of hairstyles, hold and shine levels that Old Spice stylers can achieve.
