Access Israel: Would You Pretend to be Disabled?

December 3rd 2022 marks the International Day of Disabled Persons. To honor this day, Israel Accessibility Association and the advertising agency, Leo Burnett, produced a film that aims to put an end to a common phenomenon that severely affects the availability of disabled parking spaces. The phenomenon is this: healthy people use the parking permit of a disabled member of their family to park in a disabled parking space. The purpose of the video is to convey the message: Using someone else's disabled permit is just as unethical as pretending to be disabled. Just because you have a disabled permit for your car does not give you the right to park in a handicapped parking spot. Unless the holder of the entitled permit is in the vehicle with you, you are not allowed to park there.
